Ron, I don't know much about the Crosman and Daisy, but if the Haenel is in nice shape it is a very collectible rifle. If I read your post correctly, it is a repeater version of the model V Junior underlever. This is a very rare airgun today, and if it is complete and in good condition would be considered quite a find.

In my opinion, pre-WW2 Haenel products are some of the finest-quality factory-made airguns ever made, period. Their quality of materials and finish will not be seen again.

The Haenel company was resurrected as a state-run company in East Germany after the war, and are still around today. They have made some very fine airguns since then, but nothing that compares quality-wise to the pre-war ones.

Hello,
I write you today from Peoria, AZ. I am hoping your expertise will provide some information on a few airguns from my childhood. I recently pulled 3 airguns from my closet and I am curious to the value if any to a collector. The most interesting is a Haenel Mod V Junior Rep D.R.P. From some online research I understand Haenel was dissolved in 1946. This gun was my grandfather's who was stationed in Germany while a pilot with the US Air Force during WWII. I remember shooting this gun as a child but do not know anything else about it. I also have a Crosman 766 BB/Pellet Repeater and a Daisy 840. I no longer have a use for these guns and wanted to find a collector that could appreciate them if they have any value. Any insite you could provide would be welcome. Thank you so much.
