First, I can't say enough good things about how Airguns of Arizona processed my order. The care taken in processing my order and packaging/shipping was outstanding, and the testing documentation of my new HW90 is appreciated.

The HW90 shows a very high level of quality in fit and finish. I opted not to put a scope on this air rifle because the recoil is quite substantial. Instead, I put a Williams aperture sight on the gun which gives a long sight radius and which pairs nicely with the hooded front sight. Accuracy, as expected, is outstanding and my rifle shows an accuracy preference for heavier pellets.

Cocking effort is substantial and will present difficulty if shooting from a prone position. The trigger is smooth and predictable.

My version in .22 cal. is quite effective for gopher control out to about 40 yards.

Don't discount pairing this rifle with an aperture sight. With a 20" barrel the long sight radius gives accuracy results comparable to a scope and without adding significant weight to an already heavy rifle.
