Description

The EDgun Leshiy 2 R.E.P.R. is a step forward in modern PCP design.  The Leshiy 2 is hammerless and uses a new valve that allows consistent dwell time regardless of regulator pressure.  This system allows for rapid opening and closing, and the user no longer has to worry about wear and tear with higher regulator pressure requiring a heavy hammer strike on the valve stem.  Offered in a long (350mm barrel) or a short (250mm barrel), the Leshiy 2 is modular, multi-caliber, and accommodates the user looking for an EDC backpack model, a 450 mid-range short barrel rifle, to a  600mm barrel long range airgun
The REPR is a transverse or perpendicular micro regulator that is only a few MM tall.  It uses a cup that is screwed into the plenum sideways.  A mini Belleville washer stack is used along with a single-piston O-ring.  Placed between the air reservoir and plenum is a debris plug that prevents contaminants from entering the regulator.  The REPR is capable of regulating the plenum pressure between 60-280 BAR.  The black disc is used to either increase or decrease pressure in the plenum.  With the REPR,  increase and decrease of the regulator pressure can be done while the gun is fully charged, no need to degas the Leshiy to adjust the regulator.

Additionally, the REPR is equipped with a removable plug with 1/8 BSPP threads; this is used to check the plenum's pressure if desired.    The key to this system is not the volume of the plenum nor the fact that the pressure can go so high - but the combination of the patented valve and high-pressure regulator.  No need to waste money on "power plenums" or other snake oil items.,  Leave those upgrades for traditional valve systems.  The new REPR comes complete with everything you need, straight from EDgun.  Ed has a tradition of selling guns that don't need aftermarket gizmos to ensure performance.  The new REPR is ready directly from EDgun without having to pay for extra items.

Pun INTENDED: I was "blown away"
I've never shot a Leshiy until my best friend well, one of my best friends, Matt Reinhardt told me about 22 caliber version with a 350 mm barrel that a friend of his wanted to trade for something. I've always been interested in them, but never had a firsthand opportunity, mainly because of the selling price. But a trade for something I already had on hand was a different story financially. So I took advantage of that. At first, I was a little intimidated as Matt explained the ins and outs of the gun, because it's certainly different from any PCP that I've ever seen before. But I got over my anxiety and jumped into it. I'm shooting AEA 18.3gn in .22. At 30 yards with NO wind, it was literally "hole-in-hole" with eight shots which is why the magazine holds. I'm not talking about cloverleafs. I'm talking about clean holes. And the standard deviation was about two maybe even one and a half I'll have to double check with the velocity of about 909 ft./s. I didn't check any of the settings when I got it, I just shot it as it came to me after I clean the barrel. The gun is solid and I mean like it seems like it's all one piece of metal. It's so solid no wiggle any place. Mine has a 500cc bottle in the rear. And I fill it to 300 bar.

The trigger is not adjustable, and my preference is for a trigger in the 4 ounce range, and this trigger is 3 to 4 pounds. I would guess. But that didn't prevent me from the kind of results I just described to you.

I was shooting from a bench with a bipod up front and a MDT "Peanut" bad at the rear.

So I love this because of its flexibility in configurations like barrel length changes and barrel caliber changes easily done, although not very cheap. I'm going to put on 830 caliber 600 mm barrel as soon as I could find one available.

Matt told me that I probably wouldn't like it, and I don't know why he said that I've got to ask him but he was sure I wouldn't like it. But I love it.

I put a DNT ThermNight on it.

If the price doesn't scare you away, I was initially, until I was able by the grace of G_d, to come across this trade opportunity; and you want a superbly made, superbly, engineered, accurate and reliable modular, PCP, jump into this one.
