Sig’s first entry into the PCP domain
Sig has introduced several new air guns this past year. I’ve been impressed with the three I’ve bought (this one, the .22 scoped springer, and the .177 Super Target pistol).

But far and away, the one I’m having the most fun with is this PCP.

It’s a trainer, not a precision rifle. But it’s so much fun running 30 rounds through on semi auto mode.

The trigger is a bit on the heavy side, but it’s not a bench rifle ... it’s a trainer. At this price point I don’t know of anything that’s as well made.

It’s about time we had a PCP from Sig, and this is a worthy addition to their line up.

Neat little AR style marksmanship trainer
This rifle comes equipped with AR style flip up sights. My impression is that it’s not going to be a tack driver, but it is pretty cool that it fires as a semi auto (you don’t have to recock it for each trigger pull).

Your trigger pull has to be pretty deliberate. It’s not a light trigger. Of course at this price point, and for this purpose, one wouldn’t expect a match grade trigger.

The 30 round magazine is actually the housing for s 30 round belt. It is not hard to fill the belt, and it is not hard to thread them belt back into the magazine. I have not experienced any misdeeds or jams.

The pistol grip houses a four way special tool. The tool can be used to seat pellets in the belt (I did not need it for this), secure the butt plate to the gas bottle, and adjust the front and rear sights.

The gas bottle is rated for 3000 psi. It is easy to remove and reinstall. It is equipped with a foster valve. I removed the bottle to fill it, and it filled from 0 to 200 bar in just a few minutes with the Omega Trail Charger.

It is not finished at the level of a high end Sig AR style rifle, but it is very nice for the price.
