Designed for the Benjamin Marauder .177 and .22 air rifle, this pressure regulator allows the factory gauge to be installed directly, which increases the total air volume and therefore inproves shot count. It will give you better consistency and shot-to-shot accuracy immediately.
This regulator is vented to the atmosphere without any modification to your pressure tube. This will prevent the regulated pressure from creeping up between shots. Simply slide the regulator into the pressure tube following the included fitment instructions.

Excelent Results
I think my Marauder is fairly early. It is a model BP2263 and says Made in the U.S.A.. It is .22 caliber. I shoot Crosman Premier pellets (14.3 Gr) lubricated with White Lightning bicycle lube. I originally tuned the rifle according to the "A" Team instructions. At 2500 psi I get 35 good shots. 845 fps with a spread of 30 fps and a standard deviation of 8.4. My settings are Hammer stroke 1/2 CW. Hammer spring full CCW. Port out 3 turns. The actual instillation instructions for the Huma are straight forward and easy to follow. The most difficult part is removing the old gauge fitting and the instructions show you how to fashion a tool to get the job done. The gauge shows the regulator pressure at 1800 psi which I believe matches closely to the setting on the regulator. I should have written it down before I installed it, but didn't. I set the port out 2 turns according to the instructions. I now fill to 3000 psi and still get 35 good shots. Average velocity is 782 fps with an extreme spread of 13 and a standard deviation of 2.4. That is a significant improvement over the unregulated gun. I could play with the hammer spring and/or regulator pressure to get the velocity back, but I am happy with the results that I have.
The only down side is that now the gauge shows the regulator pressure and not the tank pressure. Huma has a solution for that in the form of a gauge and fill adapter that replaces the end cap. I just put one on order.
