When we first introduced the RWS Model 48, we expected it to become a classic. What was unexpected was its rapid rise to classic status among knowledgeable airgunners. At 1100fps in .177 (750 mps), this rifle propels pellets at .22 rimfire velocities! This tremendous power is generated by the use of a very robust spring piston powerplant cocked by a side lever action. The action is mounted into an extended beech stock to reduce felt recoil and to aid in achieving accuracy potential. Not designed for the faint hearted, this is one impressive air arm, both in performance and presence. It fulfills its purpose as a potent, full size sporting airgun suitable for either pest control or field target shooting, yet it does so with both balance and grace. The substantial one piece stock allows for comfortable offhand shooting and adds to the overall sensation that the Model 48 is a force to be reckoned with. The rifle is fitted with a finely rifled, fixed barrel system loaded via sliding breech opening. Its full accuracy potential can be realized by the use of a quality RWS airgun scope mounted to the scope rail. Other standard features include an adjustable trigger, an adjustable rear sight, and an automatic safety. Lifetime warranty.

How do you improve upon the perfection of the model 48? Simple...dress it up a bit. We did so and created the RWS Model 52. The 52 adds a Monte Carlo stock with a one inch longer length of pull, a sculpted cheekpiece, and includes checkering on the wrist and forearm. This package, combined with the proven powerhouse system in the Model 48, truly embodies the expression of the beauty and the beast. Though designed primarily as a magnum field gun, the elegance of the Model 52 gives its owner a real sense of pride of ownership, The Model 52 has been so well received and popular that it is little wonder that many a serious airgunner considers his 52's to his favorite model within his rack of working airguns.

A totally recoilless, spring piston airgun seemed little more than a dream before the appearance of the RWS Model 54. In order to realize this goal the engineers spent years experimenting with different systems until they created this mechanical marvel. Simple but durable, the 54 uses a floating action riding on rails to achieve a totally recoilless system that stands up to the pounding of our 1100 fps system. Not only does this arrangement prevent transmission of felt recoil to the shooter, it also permits the rifle to excel in the accuracy department. When the rifle is fired, the action moves back slightly within the stock, absorbing the recoil, and permitting the pellet to exit the barrel before any of the spring vibration affects its travel. This system dramatically improves the accuracy potential of this magnum air rifle, making it a first class choice for either long range pest control or the precise demands of field target shooting. This side lever cocking magnum rifle's other features include adjustable trigger, adjustable rear sight, scope rail, Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece and checkering, and an automatic safety. Lifetime warranty.

If you are looking for more power and then some, then the RWS Model 350 Magnum is right up your alley. It boasts a tremendous 1100 fps velocity in .177 caliber. The Model 350's walnut-stained hardwood stock is turned in the classic, field/sporter contour with a shadow-line, raised cheek piece. The forearm is thinly contoured to keep down excess weight. The receiver is of course sizable because of the velocity but it includes a scope-mounting rail and a cocking-actuated safety. Sights are the upgraded version of the micro-click adjustable Diana sights with a hooded aperture in front that will accept interchangeable sight inserts. To help overcome the effects of recoil, there is tastefully executed, machine-cut and hand finished checkering on the pistol grip and the forend. The checkering is done in the classic double "V" pattern. The butt stock is finished with an attractive rubber recoil pad. The trigger is adjustable for let-off and over travel. The Model 350 weighs in at 8 * lbs. and is 48" in overall length. The entire rifle looks like a very graceful version of the time proven Model 36 but on steroids. You can expect this rife to have a hefty cocking weight, 45 lbs., but you will be rewarded with tremendous velocity for all of your efforts.
