Weihrauch HW95L Field Pro .177

Airguns of Arizona carries excellent products and provides great service! I purchased a new Weihrauch HW95 and the Vortek super tune upgrade. They installed the upgrade and shipped the HW95 to me in less than a week. It is a superb gun. The upgrade was well worth the money. The HW95 is very accurate and a pleasure to shoot!

This gun has the same exact powerplant as the HW98. The only difference is the weight and stock design. Once I learned this I had to have it. I prefer the simple stock Of the 95. This gun has the perfect trigger pull length, the perfect weight and its overall feel. I love this gun. The stock is perfectly shaped, its ergonomics sits well in my hands. The butter smooth break ends with a satisfying snap as it locks with the trigger sear. At this point I just aim downrange click off the safety and shoot. Trigger adjustment is so easy to adjust. The firing cycle is quick and pushes straight back. I had AOA install the the Vortek PG3 tune kit and the twang has become a solid thud. Keep in mind you want to shoot this gun for a while before you sight in the scope. At first it shot low with Crosman Premier DUMs but the poi changed as the gun settled in. Took a few hundred pellets and consistant cleaning of the barrel every 50-100 shots to get to the sweet moment when the gun settles. After reaching this point the cocking smoothed out even more and the gun seemed to cycle even better. It did not take much to sight in the amazing scope after I broke the gun in. Now she shoots exactly where I aim provided my artillery hold is spot on or that I have the gun on the bag at its balance point with my hand on the forehand area of the stock and the butt end held by my hand NOT on a rear bag rest. If you are a springer fan like me then you will enjoy this gun. One of my favorites. The scope is excellent and I can see it lasting for many years of service. Love that the Luxus version has no open sights leaving the upper part of the breech clear of screw holes and the end of the barrel smooth with the ergonomically shaped muzzle weight. Just buy it!

Love mine. It just reeks quality. The HW95 is the hunter's version of the HW77/97. It has the same powerplant, but weighs a bit less due to the breakbarrel design rather than the underlever. If you're shooting off a bench rest, the 77/97 is probably better. If you're out in the field all day the 95 is probably better due to weight. Either way you can't lose, just buy it.

This is a fantastic little rifle. Shipping was delayed a bit due to COVID, but AOA took care of me by setting up the rifle/scope and test firing at no charge. I am a high power rifle guy, and this is my first spring rifle. It is taking a bit of practice, and I am getting the hang of it (light artillery hold with trigger follow through seem to be the ticket). So far, my rifle likes the H&N 14.66 gr Field & Trophy (.22cal). On a level bag, this rifle will consistently hold 1 moa at 25 yds, and I think think the shooter is still the limiting factor. I have also gotten some amazing groups at 50yds. The fit and finish are excellent, and the factory scope is holding zero just fine. The trigger is amazing. I bought the .22 cal version for hunting small game, and I am shooting rabbits at 10 - 25 yards with no problem (plenty of power). Overall, this is an extremely well made, accurate and simple rifle that will definitely outlast me...
