The Omega compressors have a reputation for high performance at competitive prices. The new Omega Trail Charger has many features in common with its bigger brothers. The Omega Trail Charger is designed as a portable machine that can run off of a 110V wall outlet with included inverter or a 12V car battery. The Trail Charger is water cooled this is a vital feature for long service life. The filling of a small bottle or air tube is hassle free with an auto shut off that the user sets at the desired pressure. This eliminates the user from having to watch the fill pressure gauge as the compressor does its job. The Omega Trail Charger is capable of filling directly to your onboard bottle. The run time to fill a 190cc cylinder from 1800psi to 3300psi is a swift 2:30 minutes. The Trail Charger filled a 480cc carbon bottle from 1800psi to 3500psi in a mere 8:30 minutes. The duty cycle of the machine is 30 minutes run / 20 minutes cool. This allows for filling of smaller portable tanks as long as the unit is allowed to cool. We tested the Trail Charger on a empty 18cf tank and it filled from 0 to 4500 in only 90 minutes of run time. Larger tanks can be filled as well, although this is not the primary function of this small portable compressor. Included features are a water site-glass, a grease pot for internal lubrication, burst disc, bleed valve to remove moisture, breaker switch, cables for car battery use, inverter for home or office, carry handles and rubber feet. The Omega Trail Charger is the gold standard in portable filling systems.

Omega Trail Charger update
I have had this Omega trail charger now for over 6 months now. I originally didn't like that there was no hour gauge. I did install one. It did have problems after about 5 fills with my 300 bar Avenger. It wouldn't charge past 2000 psi. I called AOA and they got me in touch with Tod (GREAT guy). He told me to clean out under the burst disk with a Q tip and run the unit and keep cleaning till there was no more grease. It WORKED and I haven't had a problem since. Wish I could show how the hour meter looks, but I'm not that savvy with computers.

Omega Trail Charger
I have had this compressor for about 3 months. It has done very well in that time. I've been using it to recharge my Avenger because I'm trying to tune it. Degassing and fill to full 300 bar from empty. Not a single problem! It is very quiet. The Nomad 2 is extremely loud compared to this. I just wish Omega would have put a hour meter on it. Keeping track of the run time is my only gripe. Otherwise Its a great portable compressor!!! My hat is off to both AOA and Omega, both are great company's and people.

Omega Trail Charger
I have been using this compressor for more than a year and just to fill my air rifles in my house. I have not take it out to a hunt yet.
Within the conditions of the use I have gave it up to know, the compressor has worked PERFECTLY WELL.

Quiet and Good Customer Support
I purchased this compressor last March (2020). AOA shipped promptly and since then I have used this to fill my Gladius, my Skyhawk, my Avenger and my Leshiy. No issues at all until today (January 26, 2021) when the unit failed to operate. Got in touch with AOA and they referred me to the Rep/Warranty person who was very nice, helpful and knowedgable. Looks like the main board took a vacation, so a new board is on the way. Hopefully, it will solve the problem and I'll be back up and running. If not, I'll return it for a replacement as this really IS a great compressor. I think it is well worth the money, even with the issue I currently have. We shall see! Going to give it 4 stars because I really wanted to go shoot tomorrow!

Great Buy
I bought this Trail Charger in May of this year and so far am very pleased with the performance and ease of use. It is very quiet as far as compressors go and chugs right along filling straight to my PCP's in decent time. I fill up after the pressure drops of the reg so a couple minutes is all it takes. Did some upgrades and o-ring changing on my Marauder and from 0-3000 took about 7 min or so...not bad. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase from AoA and knowing that this smaller compressor is built basically the same & functions like it's larger counterparts, I feel that it should give good service, time will tell.

Light, quiet, simple, effective
I bought this compressor to have a portable capability to fill bottles for my air guns. This easily fills the bill.
I had to buy an adapter to match it to my BSA R10. But it was ready for the LCS SK19 right out of the box.
The amount of cooling water required was small. I did not measure it, but it was much less than half a liter.
Everything worked right out of the box. Filling the BSA 200 to 300 cc bottles goes very quickly. It takes a bit longer to fill the LCS SK19s 480 cc bottle, but it’s very doable.
It comes with tools, grease, and a seal kit for rebuilding.
I would not try to fill a large tank, like a 75 cubic foot or larger. This compressor is not mean for that job.
The included AC to DC converter works very well and is also very quiet.
All in all, I am very pleased with this portable unit. I may buy a larger unit later if I decide to get a scuba tank size refill bottle, but this will serve well as a portable unit for filling bottle mounted guns even then.
