Description
The new Huntsman Revere incorporates the same side lever system also used in their flagship Wolverine R line of rifles. This superior cocking action is smooth and almost effortless. When the cocking lever reaches the rearward position, the magazine rotates a pellet into the bore line. On the forward closing stroke, the pellet is inserted into the bore and the lever is magnetically assisted to close, a delightful experience. This system can be reversed simply and quickly to be actuated from the other side of the breech block. The Revere incorporates the newest magazine technology from Daystate offering higher capacity and faster loading. This design offers an elegant solution for fast easy loading of the magazine regardless of finger size or arthritic restrictions for some of the more seasoned shooters. The face of the magazine is on a hinge the when pulled from the top down will expose the entire magazine wheel for easy pellet insertion. Additionally, the magazine uses a spring-loaded location system that enhances accuracy and requires fewer moving parts. Once loaded and ready to fire, Daystates firing valve system working in concert with the worlds finest Huma regulator and patented hammer provide the best in consistent and accurate shots per air fill. When filled to 250 bar in .177 caliber one can expect 75 shots at 18 Ft-Lbs of energy out of the 162cc of available air inside the cylinder.
The German made, Competition grade A.R.T approved barrel and match grade fully adjustable trigger provide long range accuracy for target and hunting use. Other user inspired features include: Individual pressure gauges for both air cylinder and regulator, an 11mm scope rail, shrouded barrel with capped ½ UNF threads, and industry exclusive 5-year warranty for the USA.

There’s no escape
This rifle will have absolutely no problem eradicating varmints from a centralized firing position on a typical lot. It’s almost too easy. We’ll see when they start coming out of their holes.

A premier rifle with all the right features
The rifle is incredibly accurate. This is day 2 with the rifle and I can put 5 shots in a dime at 30 yards, every time.
With the adjustable trigger you can get the experience you want. I found the factory setting to be pretty decent. However I will be adjusting the second stage a tiny bit at some point.
The new magazine is easier to load but I don't really like the blue.
I have the right hand stock with the left hand lever action. The fact that you can get this configuration is notable because a lot of other rifles do not allow this configuration. I am very very pleased because I can cycle new rounds from the magazine into the chamber with the left hand and keep my target in sight with the right hand.
When it comes to the rail system a lot of people would prefer the picatinny. But when you are producing a hunting rifle and want to save weight for someone that is going to walk around for hours with the rifle then the dovetail rails make sense. I paired this with SportsMatch UK rings (extra high) for my 30mm scope.
The lever action is incredibly smooth compared to a bolt. I have been waiting for the Hunstman to come out with a lever action and which allows me to attach my own choice of 1/2 UNF modertor/silencer/suppressor and I have been happy with the new features on the Revere.
The rifle is short in length and I think people refer to it as a carbine. This seems right.. I definitely like the short length.
My rifle is .25 and I get about 17 shots with 30.86 H&N Baracuda pellets. I am very pleased with the number of shots when considering the size and weight of the rifle.
The safety has a half moon shaped anodized lever. It's pretty good and no complaints.
The stock has the thumb rest which I believe brings it up another notch to a premier rifle. I know some people could care less about this but this one feature is great. Plus, the checkering is very solid for the grip along the front and back to provide a solid hold. The wood is really top notch quality aesthetically. I have several walnut stock firearms of high quality and the Revere holds its ground with the best of them. I am not talking about scrub rifles when comparing..
The barrel has a great looking mat black layer. In older models the air tube had a polished and blued layer that seemed to attract fingerprints. However, this model doesn't seem too bad with fingerprints but still has a very slight different layer which is not exactly mat black but a bluing which doesn't seem very shiny.
I have a large DonnyFL moderator (best on the market if you ask me) to quiet this down in the back yard for the small predators that pass by a few times a year.
There has been zero regrets about purchasing this rifle and the pedigree speaks for itself.
Check out this rifle if you get a chance.
