Engineered to handle every air-filling scenario an airgun user may encounter, this solid performer punches well above its price point. The Road Runner accepts 110-volt power from a standard home outlet or 12-volt DC power from a car battery via the included jumper cables. It also features a receptacle that accepts a Makita-style portable battery pack, so you’re ready to charge your airgun on or off the trail. A carry handle is mounted for easy transport.

Manufactured with high-quality materials and proprietary cooling technology, the compressor is oil- and air-cooled and uses special piston and cylinder bore materials that allow it to run for extended periods with minimal issues. High-speed cooling fans activate only when needed based on temperature and shut off when not required. A sight glass on the side of the unit lets you easily check the oil level. The cooling system is so effective that the manufacturer approves filling carbon bottles up to 9 liters. In testing, the Road Runner topped off a 75 cubic foot carbon bottle from 3,000 psi to 4,500 psi in one hour and fifteen minutes with no issues.

Auto shut-off is simple: set the desired fill pressure, connect your airgun or tank, turn it on, and walk away. The compressor shuts off automatically when the set pressure is reached. It is recommended to briefly open the bleed valve every twenty minutes or so while running. A small moisture filter for damp conditions and a flexible hose are included. Optional upgrades and accessories are available, including a high-performance battery pack and enhanced ceramic filtration.
