Rear cap detents fail on hw 97k
Everything was good for about 150 shots, then the rear cap flew off during a shot. It's only held on with a couple small ball detents that clip onto a groove on the scope body. I tapped the cap back on, but it only stayed on for a couple shots. I think the balls are just too small or too soft.
The scope itself is OK for a budget Chinese scope. The image isn't real clear and the crosshairs are very fine, but it's not a schmidt & bender, either.
