The RWS Model 34 rifle will keep you shooting accurately and powerfully. While it doesn't have some of the fancy features that more expensive guns have, it is the most popular RWS rifle.

The well-balanced classic straight wooden stock is made of hardwood which makes it easy to hold and shoot while this ambidextrous rifle provides extra comfort as you zero in on your target. Made by German craftsmen, the Mod. 34 has a two-stage adjustable trigger, an adjustable rear sight and a rifled barrel. At just 33 lbs., there's no need to worry about cocking difficulty. Is ideal for plinking, paper and spinning air gun targets. If you expect value and quality in one airgun, the RWS 34 is for you!

This rifle is a legend in its class. I bought mine some years ago it’s a .177 TO6 trigger. This is my go to gun and I have been able to shoot iguanas a 1/4 of an inch behind the eye at sixty yardas with crosman premier 7.9 hollow point pellets, and I’ve done it free hand! My 34 puts out close to 14 FP with the 7.9s and for such a small pellet they are deadly when placed correctly. I also have an HW 95 in the same caliber that I bought from AofA but for me the steadiest shooter is the 34. I have to admit that I personally did a tune job on my 34 they are super friendly to work with- in my case I added an aluminum skirt (made from a coke can) inside the piston - this was done about 3 years ago and it’s shoots superbly. This can be also done with a Vortek PG2 kit.
If you haven’t taken the leap into the world of fine spring air rifles I truly believe this is the gun to start with. The 34 with a cheap 3-9x32 center Point scope with a one piece medium mount can give you 3/8 inch groups at 20 / 25 yards using the cheap pellets I’ve mentioned, even better groups with the more expensive JSB an HNs 8 grains. I have never had to adjust the TO6 trigger on my 34 it’s just smooth and crisp completely predictable. If you are looking for a “toy” to entertain you for long bouts of plinking or varmint hunting this is it. The only thing that may go wrong with this gun is having to change the main spring after thousands of shots , but we’re talking about an 18 buck DYI job. German quality at its best.
