Love this gun
First let be clear. I’m a fan of the this lil fu#r
However out of the box it has a few issues
1. Don’t try and make it shoot 18 fpe. The barrel being so short the lingering air behind the pellet creates accuracy issues. Keep it close to 17 fpe for better accuracy.still won’t be a 50 y gun. The included Zero DB moderator although quiet does little to enhance accuracy. Installed an Impulse moderator with it stacked air strippers improved accuracy immensely by snatching the waisted blast of air out the muzzle.
2 cocking leaver has 2 issues 1 the handle is to long and is easily pulled back by your trigger finger resting in the safe ready position above the trigger ( when the gun is cocked) allows a double feed.
Cutting two rows off the handle helps. 2 there is nothing holding the leaver closed is what it’s so easy to accidentally drag the cocking leaver open. To salve this I epoxied a very small magnet in the cocking leaver triffids. Problem solved. After this few tweaks it’s a solid 60 yard gun.
Don’t try and make it something it’s not. It’s a close quarter gun.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a fan of big guns. I put together my first small gun in 1996 build up a Falcon pistol into a sub- compact gun and have built up many since then.
This is a well built gun with a great trigger and when used within its wheelhouse is perfect for small game.
Shot count ( over rated) is 21on the reg and a few useable shots after that. At the end of the day it’s my go to gun this season ( so far).
I have no regrets with Lil Fu#r
