HW 35 E .22
Bought mine 6 years ago from AOA and mounted a Peeps ! Much easier to break open and cock than the HW50 S.22 which I also have and bought from AOA ! Very Accurate ,powerful and Great Classic Looks with Walnut Stock ! Thanks Again To AOA for Great German Air Guns !

HW35E Stainless Look, .22 Cal is Awesome
I've been looking for over a year, pondering a .22 backyard "fun gun". I already own, from AoA, the HW50S and HW77k SE (both in .177). Both these rifles are scoped and shoot like target master dreams...
But, I wanted a .22 Cal... I finally zero'd in on the HW35E, the stainless look. I absolutely love the contrast of stainless, bluing, and brown walnut. The form/fit/finish is perfect. The customer service and shipping with AoA is simply fantastic and the 35E arrived in perfect condition. The cocking effort is on par with my 50S, and the shot cycle is sweet, very fast. The barrel release lever is very intuitive. For me, I use my left thumb on the lever, pull down on the barrel with my right hand. Took me literally no time at all to adjust.

I don't consider the rifle to be hold sensitive. There's only a hint of spring buzz. I've started the two tin break-in, and (off-hand) shooting, it is amazingly accurate. I did install the Williams peep sight. And damn is it fun... I can plink the crap out of soda cans at 35 yards all day long. Like I said, this is my backyard "fun gun". Shooting Crosman Premier 14.3 gr and JSB Jumbo Express 14.35 gr. I already bought a sling... keep in mind that the sling swivels are 3/4". Got the Levy's Leathers Braided.

Anyway... my opinion... this is one fine air rifle. Simply love it.
